As a perfectionist, I've tried to embrace watercolor, because it forces me to give up control. You have to be ok with the imperfections, you can't hide anything with watercolor. It can smell your fear.

The thing I'd never understand is why quite skillful artists corrupt their reputation by using AI while they can use reference images found on the internet OR photos taken by themselves. And of course such an artists, hopefully unconsciously, support AI bros who caused so many lay offs these couple years. No wonder this work didn't come out well. Please, use a proper references for your own sake.

In my honest and humble opinion , using AI will dull your senses as an artist. Having a machine think for you to speed things up is a detrement and will eventually lead to the dulling of your senses to subtleties of human made art and nature as reference. You will even pick up that AI look/vibe that's just so icky and fake feeling when you look at it for more than 10 seconds. Dont be lazy. Stop and absorb your references , the knowledge you'll gain from actually thinking through will be so helpful down the line.

see this what im trying to do , she wasnt married to her reference photo she painted according to a general color scheme and harmony and didnt match the references exaact color while still creating a beautiful piece

You should draw your stuff yourself, not the Ai. Art is about authenticity and a personal artistic expression, not just about people-pleasing images. The time you spend stitching this stuff together would have been better spent in a more authetnic sketch on your own, I am sure.
